Residents in five communes are advised to stock up on drinking water due to modernization works at Cireșu Dam. The Buzău Water Company will conduct maintenance from October 6 to 14, which may affect water supply. Heavy rainfall could extend the disruption period. The project includes replacing a critical valve for dam safety. Users are encouraged to prepare water reserves before the intervention, and water tanks will be provided in affected areas. Approximately 15,000 people will be impacted by the water shortage, with previous works delayed due to adverse weather and landslides.
