Avertisment de la vârful PSD: Sorin Grindeanu susține că nu se pot evita alegerile anticipate

The possibility of early elections in Romania is gaining traction amid ongoing political instability. PSD's Sorin Grindeanu stated that dissolving Parliament is inevitable if the government impasse continues. He emphasized that the party will not support any government lacking PSD ministers. Romania has faced a political deadlock since May, following the fall of the Bolojan government, with failed attempts to form a new majority. The constitutional framework allows the President to dissolve Parliament after two failed investiture requests within 60 days. A proposal for Luca Niculescu as Prime Minister faces opposition from both PSD and PNL, complicating negotiations further. Pressure is mounting on President Nicușor Dan to either form a stable majority or move towards early elections.
