Avertisment de la Ministerul Energiei: Urmează o iarnă și o primăvară cu prețuri foarte mari la electricitate
Cristian Bușoi, Secretary of State in the Ministry of Energy, stated that Romania's energy system has proven to be more resilient than expected, but high electricity prices are anticipated for winter and spring 2027. He highlighted the ongoing closure of Cernavodă's Reactors 1 and 2, which poses risks for future electricity prices amid rising gas costs in Europe. Bușoi also mentioned successful absorption of over 800 million euros from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) for renewable energy projects and emphasized the need for stable prices for industrial consumers. Discussions on energy investments and competitiveness are ongoing at a specialized conference organized by InvesTenergy.
