Avans important pe Autostrada Unirii A8: Podul peste Prut care va lega România de Republica Moldova a ajuns la 55%

The bridge over the Prut River at Ungheni-Zagarancea, part of the A8 Highway, is 55% complete, with metal deck elements being installed in Moldova. This construction will provide the first highway connection between Romania and Moldova, linking A8 to the future highway to Chișinău. Work began in April last year, and the bridge is the first of its kind over the Prut in over 60 years. A segment of the A8 is currently the most expensive highway in Romania, costing approximately 770 million euros for 17.7 kilometers.
