Autostrada Transilvania: cei 55 de kilometri din Bihor ar putea fi deschiși până la finalul lui 2026 (VIDEO)

Construction on both segments of the Transylvania Highway in Bihor is progressing rapidly, with potential completion ahead of schedule by the end of this year. The most notable feature is a nearly 2-kilometer viaduct over the Suplacu de Barcău reservoir. The Chiribiș-Biharia section, 28.55 kilometers long, may open five months early, while the Suplacu de Barcău-Chiribiș section is also nearing completion. The Bihor sector is recognized for its impressive infrastructure, including the second longest bridge in Europe. Once completed, the highway will provide uninterrupted access from the Hungarian border to Nușfalău.
