Autostrada Transilvania avansează spre graniță: lotul Chiribiș–Biharia a ajuns la 71 la sută / video

Over 550 workers and 404 machines are currently engaged in the construction of a 28.5-kilometer section of the A3 Highway in Bihor, which is 71% complete. The project has seen a 6% progress in August 2026, with significant milestones achieved, including 18 kilometers of stabilized ballast and asphalt layers laid on 13.5 kilometers. The construction is led by Precon Transilvania and Citadina 98, with a contract value of 785 million lei funded by European sources. The completion date is set for May 20, 2027, following a previous contract that was terminated and reassigned. The overall goal is to connect the Gilău-Borș section of the Transylvania Highway, enhancing access to the Hungarian border.
