The construction of the Transylvania Highway sections in Bihor is nearing completion, with potential traffic opening in December. The Suplacu de Barcău - Chiribiş segment is 26.35 km long and is expected to finish by the end of November. The Chiribiş - Biharia section, measuring 28.55 km, is also progressing well, aiming for a December opening. These sections will enhance connectivity to Hungary and alleviate traffic on DN1. The overall project has been in development for 25 years, with significant milestones achieved recently.
