Autostrada Transilvania: 26 km pe lotul Suplacu de Barcău – Chiribiș, în Bihor, ar putea fi deschiși circulației pe 1 Decembrie

The Suplacu de Barcău – Chiribiș section of the Transylvania Highway is expected to open on December 1, 2026. The construction has surpassed 90% completion, with final asphalt laid on 20 kilometers. The project includes three viaducts and eight bridges, funded by European sources. The contract, valued at over 884 million lei, was signed in November 2023, with a two-year timeline for completion. This section will connect to 100 kilometers of the highway, while other segments are still under construction, with some expected to finish by late 2026 or 2027.
