Autostrada Suplacu de Barcău–Chiribiș se deschide de 1 Decembrie

The Suplacu de Barcău – Chiribiș highway section will open on December 1, Romania's National Day, as announced by the Secretary of State in the Ministry of Transport, Horațiu Cosma. The construction has surpassed 90% completion, with final works ongoing, particularly near Suplacu de Barcău. This section has a long history of delays and contract cancellations, initially started by Bechtel and later resumed by Erbașu in 2023. The project is expected to finally conclude after years of setbacks, marking progress for the Transylvania Highway.
