Autostrada Sibiu-Pitești: Secțiunea 4 - Tigveni - Curtea de Argeș - a ajuns la 99% | Tunelul Momaia e gata, dar se mai fac teste

The fourth section of the Sibiu-Pitești Highway, covering 9.86 kilometers, is 99% complete, with roadworks finished. The opening now hinges on safety tests for the Momaia tunnel, which is equipped with advanced monitoring systems. A final test with ISU representatives is scheduled for late September, and traffic is expected to start in 2026, ahead of the contractual deadline. The project, valued at 1.678 billion lei, is funded through the Transport Program 2021-2027.
