Autostrada Sibiu–Pitești, deblocată pe sectoarele montane / Deschiderea e programată pentru sfârșitul anului 2028

The construction of the Sibiu-Pitești highway has overcome bureaucratic hurdles, allowing work to proceed on both lots between Boița and Tigveni. Secretary of State Horațiu Cosma announced that the last construction permits will be issued following the revised environmental agreements. Currently, only 45% of the total 69 kilometers could be worked on due to necessary environmental updates. Despite delays, Cosma estimates completion could occur by late 2030, depending on work pace. Meanwhile, preparations are underway for the opening of lot 4, expected to finish ahead of schedule this autumn.
