The A13 Sibiu–Făgăraș highway construction is progressing well, with aerial footage showing the four contracted lots. The total length is 68.05 km, divided into four sections, with contracts signed with Turkish company Makyol. Optimistically, the first two segments could open by the end of 2027, while full completion is expected by 2028. The project faces technical challenges due to numerous water crossings and large bridge constructions. So far, 12 building permits have been issued, and the current pace raises hopes for earlier partial openings.
