Autostrada Sibiu – Făgăraș: Peste 1.000 de muncitori și peste 500 de utilaje pe tronsoanele dintre Boița și Arpașu de Jos

The construction of the Sibiu-Făgăraș Highway by Turkish company Makyol involves over 1,000 workers and 500 machines. The first section is 23.54% complete, while the second is at 50.15%. The total contract value is 3.43 billion lei, funded through the Transport Program 2021-2027. Pro Infrastructură reports satisfactory progress, with hopes for timely completion by 2028. The project includes complex structures and significant work volume due to numerous water crossings and local roads. The entire highway spans 68 km and is expected to be finished by 2028.
