The construction of the Sibiu-Făgăraș Highway is progressing, with experimental asphalting underway on Section 3. Tests are being conducted to determine the best asphalt mixture for the entire highway. If successful, further asphalting will commence on prepared sections. All four sections of the highway are currently under construction, with physical progress ranging from 17.77% to 44%. The total length of the highway is approximately 68 kilometers, with a completion deadline set for 2028.
