Autostrada Sibiu-Boița se închide de luni. Traficul va fi deviat pe DN7 și DN1. Rute alternative

The Sibiu-Boița highway will close starting Monday for construction work at the Boița junction, redirecting traffic to DN7 and DN1. The closure is scheduled from October 5 to December 19, 2026, with a possibility of extension. Drivers will be rerouted through Boița-Tălmaciu-Veștem on DN7 and Veștem-Cisnădie on DN1, potentially increasing congestion in the area. The closure is necessary for building a bridge connecting the A1 and DN7 highways. The construction is part of the future road junction that will link highways A1 and A13. The affected section is about 13 kilometers long and was opened in December 2022.
