Autostrada Moldovei A7: Loturile Adjud – Răcăciuni și Răcăciuni – Bacău vor fi deschise simultan / Cosma critică decizia CNAIR: „De ce am mai construit un nod de 50 de milioane de lei?”
The Adjud-Răcăciuni and Răcăciuni-Bacău sections of the A7 highway are set to open simultaneously in August, despite the Adjud-Răcăciuni section being nearly complete. State Secretary Horațiu Cosma criticized CNAIR's decision to delay the opening of Lot 2 until Lot 3 is finished, citing safety concerns at a junction. Interim Minister Radu Miruță confirmed that work is progressing to meet the PNRR deadline. Current reports indicate that construction on Adjud-Răcăciuni is over 95% complete, while Răcăciuni-Bacău is around 80%. The critical point remains the Cleja viaduct, essential for meeting the August 31 deadline to secure EU funding. UMB, the contractor, is committed to finishing on time, with the Ministry of Transport facilitating payment processes to maintain work pace.
