Autostrada începută în urmă cu aproape un sfert de veac ar putea fi deschisă în noiembrie: Patru constructori s-au perindat pe unul dintre „loturile blestemate”

The long-awaited section of the Transylvania Highway between Suplacu de Barcău and Chiribiș is expected to open in November, after 22 years of delays. The construction, which began in 2004, has seen multiple contractors, with Construcții Erbașu currently in charge. Most of the asphalt has been laid, but some critical areas still require work. The completion of this section will bring the highway closer to the Hungarian border, with an additional segment expected to open in December. Pro Infrastructură estimates that by December, traffic could also flow between Poarta Sălajului and Nădășelu, creating a continuous stretch of over 155 kilometers of highway.
