Autostrada care va uni România de Grecia, prin Bulgaria. Cele trei țări depun împreună candidatura pentru proiectele de transport

Transport ministries from Bulgaria, Romania, and Greece are jointly applying for projects under the Connecting Europe Facility for 2026. The call for projects is open until October 6, 2026, focusing on Cohesion and Military Mobility packages. Proposed projects will enhance transport corridors connecting the Baltic Sea to the Aegean Sea, including a highway linking Romania and Greece. Bulgaria is also constructing the Ruse-Veliko Tarnovo highway to improve travel times for Romanian drivers heading to Greece. Additionally, the Via Carpatia project aims to connect Romania to major European transport corridors, enhancing economic cooperation among participating countries.
