The construction of the A0 Bucharest Ring Road is nearing completion with the installation of the last concrete beam, marking a significant milestone. This project, which was only on paper six years ago, is expected to be finished in a few months. The last beam was placed on the central opening of a passage over DN7, part of the northern section of the highway. In total, around 5,000 beams have been installed across 67 bridges and passages. The project has progressed rapidly since 2020, overcoming skepticism about its completion timeline. The final stages of construction are being celebrated as a major achievement for Romania's infrastructure.
