The Romanian government has announced the costs for the Brașov-Făgăraș highway, totaling approximately 9.4 billion lei for 49.75 km. The project includes numerous bridges, tunnels, and service areas, with a planned execution time of three years starting in 2027. The investment amounts to about 188 million lei per kilometer, with construction costs estimated at 7.94 billion lei. Funding will come from non-reimbursable external sources and the state budget. The highway aims to enhance connectivity between major cities in the region.
