The National Company for Road Investments (CNIR) provided updates on the A8 Unirii Highway contract after partial contestations were accepted by CNSC. The CNSC's decision requires a reevaluation of technical aspects, expected to conclude by the end of September. This reevaluation is under the oversight of ANAP. Initially, Danlin XXL was awarded the contract for the Târgu Frumos – Lețcani section, valued at 4.57 billion lei, which includes complex structures like bridges and tunnels.
