The construction of the A7 Bacău-Pașcani highway is progressing well, with over 60% completion across three sections. UMB, the Romanian contractor, has deployed around 5,500 workers and 500 machines on site. Significant advancements are noted at the Filipești railway overpass and nearby road junction. Approximately 77 kilometers of the highway will be asphalted, with at least 49 kilometers expected to open this year between Bacău and Mircești. The final section's opening depends on the completion and testing of safety systems, ensuring thorough checks before any segment is opened to traffic.
