The Turkish contractor Ozaltin has begun asphalt work on Romania's longest highway viaduct, while UMB has surpassed 99% completion on the last section of the Transylvania Highway. The project between Nădășelu and Zimbor is progressing well, with significant milestones achieved, including the start of asphalt laying on the 2-kilometer viaduct at Mihăiești. The aim is to open the entire Nădășelu-Zimbor section by the end of 2026, enhancing connectivity in northwestern Romania.
