Autorul tentativei de deturnare a unui avion Flydubai a studiat companiile aeriene și a plănuit uciderea pilotului și prăbușirea aeronavei într-un zgârie-nori din Tel Aviv
Hamam al-Hammami, a pilot accused of attempting to hijack a Flydubai flight to Israel, revealed he had planned the operation in advance. He had studied airlines operating to Tel Aviv and aimed to crash the plane at Ben-Gurion Airport. Despite his intentions, he experienced a severe crisis of conscience and delayed the attack. Hammami had previously been dismissed from Oman Air due to extremist views and was under investigation in Australia for potential radicalization. Authorities believe he acted independently, not under any terrorist group orders. His plan involved attacking the captain and crashing the plane into Tel Aviv skyscrapers.
