Autorizația de regularizare: ce se schimbă și ce exigențe impune Codul amenajării teritoriului, urbanismului și construcțiilor

The new Urbanism Code introduces significant changes regarding construction legality, replacing the previous certification system with a regularization authorization. This authorization is now the only way to legalize unauthorized constructions, available only for a limited category of buildings and within a strict timeframe. The previous mechanism allowed constructions to become legal after three years, but the new law extends the prescription period to ten years and imposes higher costs for regularization. A transitional period of one year allows for broader access to regularization, while permanent regularization is limited to specific types of buildings. The law also increases penalties for non-compliance, including a 100% tax increase on unregulated buildings. Existing certificates remain valid under the old legislation.
