Romanian authorities confirmed that Omar Hayssam, recently released from prison, will be expelled from the country. He is currently in public custody for 30 days due to health issues and will be monitored in a hospital. After his medical treatment, he will be transferred to an IGI accommodation center for further expulsion procedures. Hayssam, who lost his Romanian citizenship in 2016, was serving a 24-year sentence for terrorism related to the kidnapping of Romanian journalists in Iraq. His health condition is reportedly critical, raising concerns about his survival.
