Autorităţile columbiene au început demolarea casei traficantului de droguri Pablo Escobar din Medellin
The Medellin city government has begun demolishing a house once owned by drug lord Pablo Escobar, citing its use for drug consumption and alleged satanic rituals. The abandoned property had become a security issue, prompting the municipality to act in order to restore community peace. The interim mayor emphasized that there is no place for glorifying drug trafficking in the city. The house, linked to Escobar's family, was acquired by his wife in 1979 and had been under preventive measures since 2004. The demolition aims to reclaim public spaces and prevent the promotion of narcotourism.
