Autoritatea Vamală Română a pus în funcțiune un nou sistem de scanare cu raze X în Portul Constanța

The Romanian Customs Authority has launched a new X-ray scanning system for non-destructive customs control at the Constanța Border Customs Office. This system enhances scanning capabilities across both sectors of the Constanța Port, ensuring uniform control. Funded by European resources, the project aims to modernize customs operations and improve the detection of illicit transport. The advanced technology will facilitate faster customs checks and real-time image analysis, optimizing operational interventions. This initiative is part of a broader effort to align Romania's customs system with European standards, balancing security and cross-border traffic efficiency.
