Autoritatea pentru Reformă Feroviară a predat CFR Călători primele cinci locomotive noi Traxx Passenger, produse de Alstom

A mixed team from the Railway Reform Authority and Alstom has received five new electric locomotives for passenger service in Romania. These Traxx Passenger units will be managed by CFR Călători and are set to enhance the efficiency of rail transport. The project aims to reduce carbon emissions and energy consumption significantly. The locomotives will operate on major interregional routes and are equipped with advanced technology, including energy recovery systems. The total project cost is approximately 441.78 million lei, funded by the Modernization Fund.
