Autoritatea Electorală Permanentă ridică nivelul de lucru de la “secret” la “strict secret”. Cu cine va schimba AEP informații clasificate
The Romanian government has approved a legal framework allowing the Permanent Electoral Authority to handle documents classified as "strict secret." This change enables the Authority to receive, process, and archive highly classified information, addressing previous limitations that only permitted access to documents classified as "secret." The decision aims to enhance operational symmetry with other institutions, especially during elections. The government has also specified which institutions, including the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, can exchange classified information with the Authority. This new regulation ensures that sensitive documents are managed under strict security standards.
