Aurul intră într-o a treia săptămână de scădere. Inflația din SUA poate schimba din nou piața

Gold prices saw a slight increase on Friday but are heading for a third consecutive week of losses as investors await U.S. inflation data. Spot gold was priced at $4,324.79 per ounce, up 0.2%, but down over 2% for the week. December futures fell 1% to $4,364.70 per ounce, influenced by changing expectations regarding U.S. monetary policy. Recent data showed a 0.4% rise in the U.S. producer price index, prompting traders to bet on potential interest rate hikes by the Federal Reserve. Higher inflation could strengthen expectations for increased rates, putting additional pressure on gold. The gold market is also affected by geopolitical developments in the Middle East, while energy prices rise, complicating central bank decisions. Other precious metals like silver, platinum, and palladium are also experiencing declines this week.
