„Aurul Apusenilor”, reconstituit la Muzeul Astra: cum era prelucrat minereul și ce legende ascund minele din Roșia Montană / video

The ASTRA Museum in Sibiu unveiled the results of the project "Aurul Apusenilor. Blestem și dezvoltare," focusing on gold mining in the Apuseni Mountains. A new circuit showcases the journey of gold from extraction to processing, featuring a traditional stamp mill, a mine entrance inspired by Roman galleries, and a miner's house from 1830. The project included educational activities for over 200 students, emphasizing hands-on experiences related to local heritage. Traditional dishes like 'Papă Albă' and 'balmoș' were also presented, highlighting the culinary history of mining communities. Although the project has concluded, the installations will remain accessible to visitors.
