AUR deputies voted for a related legislative initiative, emphasizing the need for transparency regarding who finances entities influencing public agendas. AUR's Dan Tanasă called for urgent adoption of the bill, arguing that citizens deserve to know the sources of funding for these organizations. He dismissed claims that the bill would hinder NGO activities, asserting it promotes integrity. AUR also highlighted the need for equal financial regulations for ethnic organizations, specifically addressing the UDMR's funding status. AUR remains committed to ensuring a fair legal framework for all public entities.
