The Alliance for the Union of Romanians (AUR) urges parliamentary parties to stop blocking the introduction of a bill aimed at increasing transparency in the funding of non-profit organizations. AUR deputies voted for a legislative initiative that addresses the registration of foundations but emphasizes that further measures are needed for transparency. Deputy Dan Tanasă argued for the urgent adoption of the bill, asserting that the public has the right to know who finances organizations influencing public agendas. He called on all political parties to support the initiative. Additionally, Bogdan Velcescu highlighted the need for equal financial regulations for ethnic organizations, specifically addressing the UDMR's funding. AUR remains committed to ensuring transparency and a fair legal framework for public entities.
