AUR sesizează DNA în cazul programului SAFE și reclamă posibile nereguli în contracte de miliarde de euro

The Alliance for the Union of Romanians (AUR) has filed a complaint with the National Anticorruption Directorate (DNA) regarding potential irregularities in the SAFE program contracts, which involve over 16.6 billion euros in funding from the EU. AUR highlights concerns about the legality of contract negotiations and pricing, particularly focusing on contracts with Rheinmetall worth 5.7 billion euros and the cancellation of the Piranha 5 project. The complaint also addresses the procurement of firearms for the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the OCCULT-AI project, among others. AUR requests DNA to investigate possible abuses of office and other offenses that could affect EU financial interests, while seeking access to relevant documents and communications.
