AUR propune revenirea TVA la 9% pentru prima locuință

AUR has proposed a bill to reintroduce a reduced VAT rate of 9% for first-time home purchases, aiming to stimulate the real estate market, especially for young buyers. The measure targets homes up to 120 square meters and valued at a maximum of 750,000 lei, excluding VAT. The initiative seeks to amend the fiscal code to address the lack of permanent fiscal support for first-time buyers after previous tax benefits were removed. AUR argues that the current tax regime creates unfair treatment among buyers and that the reduced VAT could boost demand in the housing sector and related industries. The bill is in the early parliamentary procedure and could take effect six months after publication.
