AUR propune reducerea TVA la 9% pentru prima locuință

AUR has proposed a legislative initiative to reduce VAT on the first home from 21% to 9%, aiming to support young families and stimulate the construction sector. The proposal, initiated by MP Lucian Mușat, applies to homes up to 120 square meters and valued at a maximum of 750,000 lei. This change is expected to save buyers significant amounts and encourage them to stay in Romania, addressing both economic and demographic challenges. The new VAT rate would take effect six months after the law is published.
