AUR is ready to negotiate with other political parties to form a majority government while maintaining its red lines regarding governance. Senator Petrișor Peiu emphasized that PSD, having the most parliamentary seats, should take the initiative for discussions. He expressed skepticism about PSD's willingness to engage in talks before consultations at Cotroceni. Peiu also commented on the arrest of Călin Georgescu, clarifying that he is not a member of AUR. He reiterated AUR's commitment to a pro-Western direction and criticized the current government for lacking the necessary majority. Peiu stated that any coalition must revolve around a prime ministerial candidate and a governance program, while AUR remains firm on its core principles during negotiations.
