Aur pe linie pentru România! Cinci elevi, cinci medalii la Olimpiada Internațională de Chimie Aplicată

Five Romanian students won gold medals at the 2026 International Applied Chemistry Olympiad in Indonesia, with two also receiving special jury awards. The competition featured 132 high school students from 12 countries, emphasizing both theoretical knowledge and practical problem-solving in various chemistry fields. The Romanian team consisted of Radu Alexia Ioana, Zetu Caterina Maria, Farcău-Bobon Matei, Moscalu Teodor Gabriel, and Rentea Cezar Beniamin, all of whom excelled in the event. The Olympiad, organized by the Indonesian Scientific Society, focuses on applying chemistry knowledge to areas like clean energy and environmental protection. The team is set to return to Romania on September 28.
