AUR's spokesperson, Ştefăniţă Avrămescu, stated that the party will not support a government they are not part of. He emphasized that any negotiations with PSD should be conducted with AUR's leadership, not individual members. Avrămescu also mentioned that discussions about forming a parliamentary majority should occur before appointing a new prime minister. He reiterated AUR's support for Călin Georgescu despite his arrest and warned that if President Nicușor Dan continues opposing early elections, AUR may seek his suspension. George Simion confirmed AUR's refusal to vote for Mureșan's government and announced a negotiation team for a stable government formation. Sorin Grindeanu accused AUR of previously supporting the Bolojan government.
