AUR, atac dur împotriva CCR, după întâlnirea Tănăsescu-Bolojan: Un biet instrument politic

The Alliance for the Union of Romanians criticized the Romanian Constitutional Court after a meeting between interim Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan and the court's president, Simina Tănăsescu. Petrișor Peiu described the meeting as an 'antidemocratic monstrosity' and expressed concerns about the lack of trust in state institutions. He accused the court of being a political tool for the party that appointed its judges. The meeting occurred before the court's discussions on the constitutionality of the new Integrity Law, contested by various political figures. Peiu also distanced himself from using the law against political opponents' families, emphasizing the need for a code of honor. He concluded that such antidemocratic actions indicate a failed state.
