The interim minister, Oana Țoiu, stated that the contracts have now been terminated. The audit aims to identify potential cost-saving measures, with estimates suggesting annual savings of over 5 million euros by renovating existing properties instead of renting. The situation highlights the need for better management of diplomatic resources.
