Audi revizuiește în scădere prognozele financiare pe fondul crizei din industria auto

Audi has downgraded its annual profit forecasts due to challenges in the Chinese auto market and rising tensions in the Middle East. The company's net profit for Q2 2026 fell by about 21% to 563 million euros, although this decline is less severe than the nearly one-third drop reported by its parent company. Audi now expects revenues between 58 and 63 billion euros, down from previous estimates of 63 to 68 billion euros. The financial director hopes for improvement in the second half of the year with new model launches and cost reductions. Sales in China and the U.S. are declining, and competition in pricing is intensifying. Audi is also undergoing a restructuring process, which includes potential factory closures and a workforce reduction plan.
