A wedding in Avrig turned into a nightmare when 17 guests, including the groom, suffered food poisoning symptoms. The event, held at the Brukenthal Palace, saw around 30 attendees feeling unwell shortly after the meal began. Emergency services were called, activating a Red Intervention Plan. Fortunately, none required hospitalization. The food was prepared on-site, except for items from a candy bar. Investigations revealed issues with some food products, leading to a fine for the restaurant and a temporary suspension of its operations until lab results are available.
