A family with a two-year-old child got lost while following GPS directions in a remote area near Poiana Muierii. They were found safe by mountain gendarmes after several hours of searching. The family, traveling from Mănăstirea Oaşa to Craiova, became stuck in mud on a forest road. The gendarmes successfully extracted their vehicle and escorted them back to safety. Authorities advise mountain enthusiasts to pay attention to trail markers and to call emergency services if they feel endangered.
