Au început lucrările la „Drumul Marmurei”. Șoseaua poate salva satele din Munții Poiana Ruscă de la dispariție

A 16.5-kilometer section of the "Marmurei Road" has begun construction, connecting Timiș, Caraș-Severin, and Hunedoara counties. This infrastructure project, valued at 88 million euros, aims to boost tourism and support communities affected by depopulation. The road will modernize 56 kilometers of mountainous routes, enhancing access to the scenic region. Historically, the area thrived due to mineral resources, but many villages have seen significant population decline since the mid-20th century. Despite this, recent improvements in road access have attracted tourists, offering a chance for revitalization in these communities.
