Florin Barbu, the PSD nominee for Agriculture, was the first to be heard, emphasizing the need for support for Romanian farmers. Former PNL-USR-UDMR Prime Minister Siegfried Mureșan expressed skepticism about the government's merit but acknowledged the urgency for a functioning cabinet. UDMR confirmed its support for Niculescu's government, while PNL and UDMR are willing to vote for the cabinet without joining it. The new cabinet consists of 19 members, with 11 from PSD and 8 independents, requiring at least 233 votes for approval.
