Au furat parfumuri, ceasuri și bani din avioane timp de 3 ani: prejudiciu de 800.000 de euro

A network of 16 individuals is under investigation for large-scale thefts from airplanes at Otopeni Airport, involving luxury items and food. The estimated loss to the airline is around 800,000 euros. Police conducted multiple searches and executed arrest warrants in connection with the case, which has been ongoing since April 2023. The suspects, employees of a commercial company, allegedly stole various products sold on flights, including perfumes and watches. The operation is coordinated with the Air Transport Police and supervised by the local prosecutor's office.
