Germany has extended border controls for an additional six months until March 15, 2027, as announced by the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Romanian citizens traveling to Germany are advised to check information from German authorities and can contact Romanian consulates for assistance. The Ministry also reminds travelers to use the 'Travel Informed' app for travel advice.
