Atenție la apelurile false în numele BNR. Trei suspecți au fost prinși în flagrant în București
Three Ukrainian citizens were arrested in Bucharest for a fraud scheme involving fake calls from individuals posing as representatives of the National Bank of Romania and other institutions. Victims were misled into withdrawing money from their accounts and handing it over to accomplices. The scheme resulted in a total loss exceeding 90,000 lei, with one victim losing 30,000 lei and another 61,540 lei. The suspects were caught in the act while one victim was handing over money. Prosecutors have initiated legal action against them for fraud and related offenses. Authorities warn the public to be cautious of such scams and report suspicious calls to the police.
